Rudy

My name is Rudy and I’m a miniature pinscher, even though I look like some of the prairie dogs in Lubbock. I like eating treats, barking at strangers, and especially hanging out with my mom, Libby. My research interests include examining factors associated with better nap taking and the influence of daily maternal absence on dog anxiety. In my free time you can catch me sleeping in the sun, chasing bugs, and worrying about when my mom is going to come home.

Binx

My name is Binx and my mom, Libby, and I don’t really know what I am, so we just say I’m a Halloween cat. Some people think I look mean, but I’m really just a silly goose who has IBS. My research interests include observational studies on bird behavior and the use of biscuit making as an emotion regulation technique. In my free time, I like to sit on the windowsill and watch birds, intrude on my mom’s Zoom calls, and bat at my brother, Rudy.

Itachi

My name is Itachi and I am a mini poodle. My research interests include inducing sleep impairment in young adult research coordinators, improving canine access to loose socks, and inducing social stress in older adult canines. In my free time, I like to damage my dad Amir's property, spin in circles, and stand on my hind legs.
